AM I ELIGIBLE FOR A UTAH CFP?
- Must Be at least 21 Years Old
- Has not been convicted of a felony
- Has not been convicted of any crime of violence
- Has not been convicted of any offense involving the use of alchohol
- Has not been convicted of any offense involving the unlawful use of narcotics or other controlled substances
- Has not been convicted of any offense involving moral turpitude
- Has not been convicted of any offense involving domestic violence
- Has not been adjuticated by a court of a state or the United States as mentally incompetent,
unless the adjutication has been withdrawn or reversed
WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING TO CLASS?
We Provide:
- Course Materials
- Application Paperwork
- Passport Photos
- Notary
- Fingerprint Card (which you will take to your local police/sheriff department for fingerprinting)
You need to bring:
- Photo ID (Drivers License preferred)
DO NOT BRING LIVE AMMUNITION TO CLASS.
HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO GET MY PERMIT?
BCI is currently processing applications within 60 days as required by law.
DO I NEED TO RENEW MY UTAH CONCEALED FIREARM PERMIT?
Yes, once every five years for a $10.00 charge.
